Observe:

I like Proverbs a lot as it a wisdom book. I find some verses very similar to Chinese idioms or proverbs. Verse 26 stands out the most "The righteous should choose his friends carefully,For the way of the wicked leads them astray." We have the same saying in Chinese: "近朱者赤，近墨者黑" I have learn this idiom since young and it still holds true to adult life even to old age. In short, the kind of friends you make matters, it will have a big influence in your life.

I will learn to treasure my friendship with the few good friends that I have. Another saying I have found "陈酒味醇，老友情深 " meaning "Old friends and old wine are best."
